When will people realize that 'race" is a myth?

There is only the human race. It's culture that makes people different. Everyone on earth has a genetic difference of less than 1%. It's the manifestations of the genes looking different that causes people to think we are from different races. I am sick of people hating on each other because of appearance! We are ALL HUMAN! When will the human race stop the divide and conquer idea, come together and help humanity and the planet? Or is this a pipe dream?

how on earth is this communist??? asking people to realize we are all human?
and my anthropology textbook says 1%, but 1 or 2 makes no difference to me.

Sorry to say but only in your dreams. We will never become united as one. Most people are too selfish, too ignorant, and down right stupid. Most people are afraid of things and people that are different from them. Most people need to have someone to blame for their problems. That's just the way of our world. And how could we unite? This country (America) was founded on hate, violence, racism, and discrimination. So as the saying goes, history will repeat itself.

and to theenddishear, whites made up that word to degrade blacks, so don't try to turn that around. Of course we'll get offended because whites use it in a form of hate, duh!!! I have yet to meet a white person that has used that word towards me with love, they have only used it with hate in their hearts, so get real!

When people realize that about 1% of the world's population controls all the world's resources. When people realize that racial, religious, gender etc. schisms are created to divide and conquer the masses so that the 1% can maintain their grip on power. How many times are we told we must fight and die over fossil fuel . The earth is 3/4 water yet hydro power patents are shelved. We are told of oil poor countries,within a planet that is solar rich. Yet solar power patents are shelved. The bottom line is that small supplies and high demands lead to high profits. A solar abundant resource would not be profitable to the 1%.Thus the masses must remain confused to be taken full advantage of.

It's a pipe dream. There is no hope for us. What really gets me is you will see a (and I hate to refer to color, but it's necessary to make my point) black man attack a white man for using the word n*gger. Mind you this is only a word...no need to get upset at a word. Yet that same black man will call another black man a
n*gger and because they are both black it is okay. Also that same black man will call a white man whitey or honkey and that is acceptable. On the radio the word n*gger is censored yet honkey and cracker are blared out to our youth. On job applications your race choices include Native American, African American and WHITE? Why am I not Caucasian? Needless to say, we are all doomed and will always be divided....it's good to see a few people like yourself out there though.

Its a pipe dream but i suppose that would be nice... I sort of like the fact that I am different from everyone else though i wouldnt want to be the same..

you more or less make a good point, however, it's 2% not less than 1%.
