I wanna be a mermaid for halloween, But I don't know where to find a mermaid skirt. I don't want to buy the actual costume because the stomach area is very sheer and see through, Plus I wanted to add my own style to it. I've checked many halloween stores, But none of them sell a mermaid skirt by itself. So my question is...Do you know where I can find a mermaid skirt? Thanks so much for your help!

well, im not sure ive never really seen a mermaid skirt by itself but you can just get the whole outfit and then like wrap something around the stomach area like a scarf sort of thing, and then you can add anything to it!! Hope that helps!!

Why don't you make it your self get a pattern of a mermaid and just make the skirt

well i dont know what to tell you about the bottom but to make people get the idea your a mermaid you could dye your hair purple pink or green or blue. well good luck!!

get a green skirt and put some sequins on it. people will most likely see what you're going for. go for it. =]

I would just make one yourself. Buy green felt, and wrap around your legs. Then, you can pin it in place, slip out of it, and do a quick sewing job. (If you can't sew, hot glue works well with felt, but just be careful not to burn yourself!) Then you can get creative and glue (or sew) on random pieces of pearlized tissue paper, beads, etc to make it shine.

buy a pattern and make one! Its realy easy to learn to sew, the pattern will give you all the directions!
