I've been playing Bass for about a year now, I'm decent, but I want to learn a 6 string guitar (not 6 string bass). Which would be better to learn off of though, an acoustic guitar, or an electric one?

An electric one, it's more expensive then an acoustic one but it sound much better and I guess it would be easier to learn on an electric one.

I'd recommend acoustic to start with as it's a bit more forgiving and thus you're less likely to be frustrated if you sound like crap at first. Also, an electric will play through your bass amp just fine so there's no need to buy one separately. Just remember, buy something that is of somewhat decent quality as you'll quickly outgrow a substandard one and just end up buying another. Good luck.

Both are great to play! Acoustic gives you a good camping sound, when electric gives you a rockband method. I sortof prefer acoustic because it is easier to get a good sound out of.

If you're focusing on hard rock and metal, go for the electric. If you're looking for soft stuff, or practicing and working on hard rock stuff, acoustic.

either is easy to learn off of, but the acoustic gives you the advantage of portability.
