Don't know much about alcohal.
Alcohol, however, is flammable, damaging to some types of rubber, an awesome astringent, makes an excellent automotive fuel, and makes you stupid.
Safe - Depends on how and what it is used for.

I agree with "free_your_fancy". It all depends on the type. The Ispropyl alcohol is for cleaning wounds and NOT for drinking. There are degees of alcohol for consumption and NOT for consumption. The alcohol you drink is not bad for you as long as it's done in moderation.

I am assuming that you mean alcohol.
If you are over 40, it is good for your heart to drink a cup a day.
If you are younger, alcohol is safe in little amounts. little!!
