I say BOYCOTT JANE FONDA after her treasonous ways during the VIETNAM ERA. ANYONE WHO GOES TO THE ENEMY AND APPLAUDS THEM FOR KILLING YOUNG US BOYS OVERSEAS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BOOTED OUT OF THIS COUNTRY

TIGGER obviously missed the point that this is about a treasonous act and not freedom of speech. If she had sat around in the US and spewed her venom harmlessley there would not even be a question. She WENT TO THE ENEMY MET THEM AND ENCOURAGED killing US soldiers. This is an act of treason mandating at least Jail time. READ THE QUESTION TIGGER.
Woodworking: A very good answer. You sir are well spoken and took the time to think about this question.

No, I dont support her.
Celebrities are stupid, and dont know anything about politics. But that doesnt stop them from running their mouths anyway and influencing their fans who are even less intelligent (if they follow the advice of a "celebrity").
She's an okay actress, I guess, but never would have been who she was if her father wasnt Henry Fonda.

I do not support her politics, (as I lost a neighbor in 'nam), nor would I have let her back in this Country after her treasonous act. (Unless it was in Jail!).
It may not have been a "popular war", but our Government wouldnt let us win it, or we would have wiped them all out. Fonda and the others had no business going out an undermining our Government. If it had been a regular civilian, or some unknown, they would have been in the "Hanoi hilton" and enjoying the company down there!
Though, my motto is forgive and forget, she has never apologised to the many Vets that I know of, and a lot of them who were prisoners of war, wont forgive her, (except those who have found JESUS CHRIST as thier Savior).
I forgive her, for her acts, as I dont hold anything against anyone, but, she had consequences for her actions that a lot of Vets were not satisfied with, nor Government Officials. (Yea, a lot of them wanted to put her in jail, but, her status as a "star" and a woman cramped them right up).
So, its a by-gone era, and this is another war, lets forgive her, as she is older now and wiser and I dont believe that she would be as unwise at her age.
Now if we can get the other radicals to "grow up" and stand behind our Country, then we will be ok.
I wish you well..
Jesse

I have never bought anything of Jane Fonda's. I read somewhere, when monster-in-law came out, with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez, some places refused to show it, due to her, siding with the enemy in vietnam. I guess it's hard for some people to forgive her.

I'm a female VietNam-era veteran who wouldn't take any of this woman's products if they were given to me for free. As far as I know, I've only seen one of her movies and don't plan on seeing any others.
For the most part, "celebrities" are poorly-educated nitwits who think that the crap that they spew is important because they're "stars".

She should have been tried for treason. But in the US celebrities are treated as a pseudo royalty figure. HANOI JANE can eat a dick as far as I am concerned.

No just Financially. Do i have to support corporations motives when I buy their products. How about singers do I have to know their political views before I purchase a CD. I can like someones music or product but not care for them. We ls don't boot people from our great country, that are here legally. People are able to express there opinions just as you have. What if people disagreed with you? should we boot your A** out of the country? of coarse not. PEOPLE WHO TRY AND STOP FREE SPEECH ARE MORE DANGEROUS THAN THOSE WHO USE THEIR FREEDOM TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES.

NO, I only support those who support our country. If a person like her hates America so much, she should move to Iran where she will fit right in.
