When I was pregnant the first time, I took one of those garbage bags that looked like a pumpkin, cut holes in it for my arms and legs. I stuffed it with tissue paper. I wore black pants and a black top and went as a pumpkin.

The second time, I went a little more elaborate. I got a cardboard box, and after a day or 2 of work, I converted it into a stove with an oven; I covered it with contact paper, added plastic knobs, a front oven door with a window that opened & closed, a clock, pots & pans on the stove top, etc (I bought toys from the dollar store). Then I wore a T-shirt underneath that I wrote the word "Bun" on my stomach. I walked around with the oven door open so people could see the word "bun." Bun in the Oven. :)

I used felt, hot glue and yarn and it came out really cute. If you want it to be a bit "puffy" cut out 4 pcs for the pumpkin and stuff a bit with polyfil. Made a hat as if it were cut out of the top of the pumpkin. Run the yarn down the pumpkin for 3-d "creases" Make the pumpkin as if were a sandwich board you wear on your shoulders with ties at the side. You can also use velcro. This was a quick and easy project.

ok, going out fro Halloween is fine, but trick-or treating at 24 isn't. if you're 18 and 24, you should be able to afford to go to the store and buy your own candy. please, leave it for the children. last year i was 9 months pregnant and went as white trash. i got a really tight white t-shirt and wrote "one in the oven" on the front. i wore my sweatpants, hair in rollers, and a housecoat. be careful though, all night long people were touching my stomach because they didn't think i was really pregnant.

You could be a green M&M. It would be pretty easy just to cut a large circle out of several yards of felt, sew it up with holes for arms and legs, paint an M on it and stuff the inside with paper. :)

The pregnant nun costume is always a favorite, and not nearly as chilly.
