all u need to do is find a fuse with constant power stick the power wire on 1 side reinsert the fuse with the wire then hook the ground wire to a good ground

take power directly from the positive side of the battery, put the fuse as close to the battery as you can, home shop wiring modifications are not covered by insurance if it goes up in smoke,good luck

Why don't you hook it up to the lighter or other accessories plug. It has power all the time and you know where the fuse is for that.
