I know at least three people in their early 20s that likes to watch Disney channel shows and cartoons like avatar, FairyOddParents ect.

Are they immature or what?

I think it's mature to not allow age to limit activities you enjoy, particularly in the face of possible rejection from your peers. While I can't speak for avatar fans, I have found myself enjoying Fairly oddparents, as well as cartoons like spongebob and Jimmy Newtron. I find that these shows are very well made and intelligent, and offer "something for everyone", they appeal as much to parents as children. Besides, if some adults didn't enjoy cartoons, who do you think would make them to entertain your children?
Edit: I love Pinky and the Brain, some of that stuff on the animaniacs cartoons would have been WAY over a child's head. So just because it's animated, doesn't mean it's not for adults.

There are a lot of adults that watch cartoons. I personally, think the cartoons that are on today...suck. I try watching them, but they just can't keep my interest. I like South Park, but it's geared towards adults in the first place. The kiddy cartoons today, they're so much different than the ones I watched when I was little. I like the old Bugs Bunny cartoons :op

Nope nothing wrong with it. I watch cartoons and I'm in my 40's. It keeps you young and laughing . What's wrong with that? Some of the cartoons out today are geared for adults anyways (ie family Guy, South Park) As for Disney; I loved the Lion King, Babe, Finding Nemo, Santa Claus, ect.

I'm past my 20's and still enjoy some of the Disney stuff, although not the newer things. Also, I love old Warner Brothers cartoons. Immaturity has nothing to do with it, and it's DEFINITELY preferable to the horror/slasher stuff out there.

im a 43yr mom of 16yr. i still watch the old cartoons, dont like the new ones on saturday mornings. but its ok for adults to watch cartoons, there is nothing wrong with it. just like adults eat cereal like when we were kids. the kid is always inside of us no matter what age we are. ignore family that laughs, and enjoy your cartoons.

No, it probably reminds them of their childhood, the original Disney cartoons, The Mickey Mouse Club (when the actors were TALENTED), etc.

They may be immature or they may just be able to still relate to the child that is in us all. It could reflect a problem if it all they watch and can't relate to people in their own age group. And it is difficult to find wholesome tv.

no, they are not immature. disney shows, animations are mostly classics, which have a moral theme and solid story line that ppl of all ages can enjoy and learn. it is like golden books, which print out classic children's stories that everyone loves.
