That depends on whether this is your first or a later pregnancy, your weight, the baby's activity, etc. The standard rule of thumb is 18-20 weeks for a first pregnancy and 16-18 weeks for a subsequent one.

You should feel your baby move after 17~22 weeks, depending on your body mass index, and if you don't feel your baby moving here are some:
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Count the baby's movements EVERY NIGHT.
2. A movement may be a kick, swish or roll. Do not count hiccups or small flutters.
3. You can start counting any time in the evening when the baby is active.
BUT: COUNT EVERY NIGHT.
4. Count baby's movements while lying down, preferably on your left side.
5. Mark the time you feel the baby move for the first time.
6. Mark the time you feel the 10th fetal movement.
7. You should feel at least 10 fetal movements within one hour.
Call your doctor immediately if
a) You do not feel 10 movements within 1 hour.
b) It takes longer and longer for your baby to move 10 times.
c) You have not felt the baby move all day.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW

Most people and doctors will say 4mos or longer but I felt my baby a little over 3mos. And I wasnt a real thin person either, So really it just depends. The baby will move and twitch from growing and developing all the way in ur 1st timinster but you just cant feel it. The baby just need to grow to the point where you can feel it.

I felt my son move at around 16 weeks (flutters) and with this pregnancy around 13 weeks. You really start to feel kicks more like 20 weeks give or take.
