It was murder...... she knew too much. Bobby Kennedy was responsible. Big article on her death in October 2006 issue of Reader's Digest. She was considered a communist and a threat to this country. RD issue probably still on sale right now, check it out.

Sometime after 10 p.m. on August 4, 1962, Marilyn Monroe slipped into a coma caused by an overdose of sleeping pills. She would never regain consciousness. Shortly after she was discovered, a bizarre set of activities took place in her Brentwood home at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive.

Monroe's last home was in Brentwood, California, at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive. She was in the process of renovating the hacienda at the time of her death.[10]

Monroe was found dead in her bedroom by her housekeeper Eunice Murray, in the middle of the night, on August 5, 1962. Murray said she noticed the phone cord under Marilyn's door, which was unusual because she never slept with her phone in her room. This worried Murray, so she called Marilyn's psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson. Greenson broke a window to get into Marilyn's home, and then upon discovering her sprawled on her bed with a phone clutched in her right hand, called Marilyn's internist Dr. Engelberg. Engelberg listened for a heartbeat, and when there was not one, called the police.

Murray and doctors Greenson and Engelberg claim that Marilyn was found at 3:30 a.m. However Natalie Jacobs, wife of Marilyn's spokesman Arthur Jacobs, said she found out about Marilyn's death while at a concert well before 11:00 p.m. that same day. She also says that her husband had to "fudge the press."

Sydney Guilaroff, hairdresser and a friend of Marilyn, said she had called him around 9:30 the night of her death. He would never reveal what she had said to him on that phone call, until his death in 1997, where he left in a note that Marilyn had told him "Robert Kennedy was here, threatening me, yelling at me...I'm frightened...I know a lot of secrets about what has gone on in Washington...Dangerous ones." In this note, Guilaroff also says that Marilyn admitted to having an affair with both Robert Kennedy and JFK. She says that Robert Kennedy had come there to break off his affair with her and warn her never to call the White House again. [11] The last phone call Marilyn made that night was to the White House.

She was 36 years old. Her death was ruled as an overdose from the sleeping pill Nembutal. Several conspiracy theories have surfaced in the decades after her death, some involving President John F. Kennedy. There is also speculation that her death was accidental, but the official cause of death was "probable suicide" by acute barbiturate poisoning.

On August 8, 1962, Monroe was interred in a crypt at Corridor of Memories, #24, at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Allegedly, this was the day she had planned to remarry DiMaggio. Lee Strasberg delivered the eulogy.

In my opinion, Marilyn had a lot of reason why to do a suicide in her later life, but I think that it was murder...or, if it wasn't than it was a BIG problem that made her kill herself

I think Marilyn Monroe was murdered. She kept a very intimate diary. It was a threat to some...
Some of the important men she slept with, needed her out of the way!
The diary was never found.

I have to honestly believe that it was murder. According to one of the books I read the doctors didn't check for rectum. The person that wrote the book thought that she had been given some type of suppositories that caused her death. I've now heard this from several sources. I'd hate to think that my name sake actually killed herself.

Who told you she died in a car accident?! Never listen to that person again. She died of an overdose, or if you're a conspiracy theorist, she was murdered.
