With my first pregnancy I didn't get that little preg bump till I was into my 6th month. I didn't really start to show probably unitl 7 months or so though. I'm pregnant with my second and I'm already bigger then I was right before delivering my son and I'm only 6.5 months pregnant. The baby I think starts putting on a lot of weight around 20-22 weeks. Then after that even still they put it on fairly quick for a couple of weeks. At 29 weeks the baby probably weighs around 2 lbs. If I remember correctly twords the end they usually say about a pound a week is what the baby will gain (I think around 36-37 weeks is when they typically say this kind of weight gain happens). It all depends though. Every baby and every pregnancy is different. You could go full term and have a 5lb baby or an 11lb baby! As far as showing. I would think you'd really be showing by now and in the next 11 weeks just keep getting bigger. You should pop out any day if you're still somewhat small. Good luck!

The baby REALLY puts on weight in the 3rd trimester. I've read a lot the vitamin D has a lot to do with this, so drink your milk. The first and second part of the pregnancy, everything is forming. As far as showing, I'm surprised you don't look obviously pregnant yet. Most women look unmistakeably prego by 6 months, but are showing before that. Don't worry, you'll show soon!

well everybody is different. don't worry about having a big bump.sometimes when your 5months it starts poppin out.the bigger the belly sometimes means that ur retaining alot of water and u don't need that. the baby gains weight monthly like a half a pund, but till 6months starts 1 whole pound, and then when 7-8months the baby starts gaining alot of weight the week or two weeks thats when ur belly starts growing and feels like a basketball.
