Why are we risking peoples lives to go blow up a country and then they use Our tax dollars to fix it. It defeats the whole point. Aren't we trying to teach them a lesson? If we wanted to play nice, we should have never blown anything up. Nobody bothered to come over here and rebuild the two towers......

1) It was Saddam we wanted to hurt, not the Iraqi people.
2) We wanted to rebuild Iraq in order to have a "friendly" Islamic democracy from which we could excerise influence by proxy.
3) It really isn't about 9/11 at all, but it gave an excuse of sorts
4) It is about geopolitical power.
5) I don't think the prospects of a long term friendship with the "New Iraq" are really very good. There is simply too much hatred and violence in that part of the world right now for a stable ANYTHING to exist for long.

It isn't ever as simple as we would like it to be.

All world events are being secretly manipulated by the Illuminati in London. They are leading us into a nuclear world war 3, and a fascist police state dictatorship.

If you take out a country's government and don't help build a new one, they will be in chaos, our enemies (Iran, for instance) will take over the job, the region will be destabilized, and we will no longer be able to prevent attacks within our own country against our own civilians.

Sounds like you get it, to me.

Politics. Politics. Politics.

It really doesnt make any sense at all. Basically, we're trying to do the right thing. Humanitarian wise.
