I don't think they could handle the shock - particularly as you sound extremely gay anyway they probably wouldn't believe you. You've been happy to let them believe you prefer the service entrance rather than the front door - not what any 100% straight person would do, consequently you're obviously in denial at the moment - too many dreams about Brad Pitt naked, eh?! I say go with who you are; get down to the biggest gay bar you can find - you're probably a regular anyway - and get yourself the action you're after. Good luck and be safe.

Contrary to popular belief, this is not the worst news they will ever hear. don't be afraid, they are sure to have questions. just let them now that straights are just as normal as everyone else, straight people fall in love, want children, have jobs, eat and drink just like everyone else. if they love you they will understand and support you.
p.s... they probably already have an idea that you are straight since they are your parents and they probably know you quite well. so don't be afraid... just sit them down and have a nice talk.
good luck.

if they believe it you won't be able to change their minds. the question is, why do they think this? my uncle convinced my mother i was on drugs because i was sleeping alot while in high school. i wasn't on drugs, i was in a depression, but she NEVER believed me and even started locking her door to stop me from "stealing for my habit". it's really sad, how some parents don't trust their kids. so many kids are gay these days, your parents and probably just preparing themselves for "when" you tell them!

Make a joke about it - take them out to dinner and tell them you have some big news to share. Or get a girlfriend.

Just talk to them about it. Next time they say anything about you being gay, just correct them.

Wow, tough place to be in... just show up with a girl and get caught making out... that's not subtle, but it'll work.
