im gonna be geting the new nano for xmas and u have to have itunes to put the music on your ipod, but i dont wanna pay for music (hehe) is there anyway i can DL from music from something like limewire and put it on my ipod?? if so, how?

No, you will need the itunes software to transfer the music, but there is an import feature, where you can import other music, that you have on your computer, into your library, and it will then upload to the ipod.

You don't understand what iTunes actually is, do you? heheh it's ok, its just a normal music player, but it also has a Shop, but you don't have to shop there if you don't want too. You need iTunes to put songs onto your Nano.

yes, you just download the music and then play the songs in itunes which will enable you to put them on your ipod.

Well you can download cds of yours or your friends or if you want to download a song or cd you and your friends dont have you will have to use itunes.
