it's hard because he breaks your trust. that always leaves you wondering. i am of the opinion that someone can make a mistake and not repeat it. some, however, say "once a cheater, always a cheater". getting drunk once doesn't make someone an alcoholic. it's up to you if you want to forgive, but after that trust is broken it's really hard to extend it again. i haven't cheated or been cheated on (to my knowledge!) but i know people who have.

I find that it is more harder to forget then it is to forgive. I have forgiven a long time ago the fact that my husband had an affair and also had a baby out of this affair. But in my mind it is still there. I suppose tho if you love that person enough you can forgive him or her for what they have done to you. Love is always right and it is never having to say that you are sorry.

I truthfully have forgiven one woman two times. vast mistake. I swore i could by no ability enable that to take place back. I forgave a diverse woman as quickly as because of the fact she truthfully confessed and begged and stalked and otherwise grew to become a royal discomfort in my backside so I took her decrease back. We broke up later for different motives. It relies upon on the guy, yet additionally the situation. Like if she cheated with somebody close that's tougher to forgive. If she cheated an prolonged time that's tougher to forgive. Get it?

It is hard to forgive because he has broken the bonds of trust and honesty. Trust is so very hard to rebuild once it has been broken.

Yes, I could forgive someone for cheating, but he would never be near me again. I do not take back a cheater - I have more self-respect than that.

If the guy did not love me enough to honor me and our relationship, then I have lost nothing by kicking him out of my life. It would free me to find someone who knows the value of being honest, faithful, and loyal.

It's hard to forgive because TRUST has been violated. Doesn't matter if you're male or female.

Yes, I've been cheated on and forgave. Then got cheated on again. Then it was over. Should have been over the first time. Maybe that's why it's so hard (because it'll probably happen again).

Well i have never experienced that, but if it was to happen...what would make it hard is to think about all the things he said, did with you he must be doing it with someone else...i think thats what would make it hard to forgive.

Forgiving and forgetting are two different things. You may be able to forgive him, but never be able to trust him again.

you cant. you can try, but you cant. it always comes back. if he cheated, he doesnt respect you. it doesnt matter if it was a one night stand or a year long affair. my ex cheated on me all the time. i forgave him for four years (about 20 times...not all the same people) you forgive and they take it as you telling them that its ok. its not.

why? now that is a good question considering the fact that you obviously weren't all that important to him when he did it. And now you would consider forgiving him? Now how stupid is that!!. Dump him and move on.
