I hate taking painkillers so I usually eat loads of ginger cookes.... or ginger tea!! it helps!!! Also a warm bath.,... hot water bittle!!
- actually come to think of it the best cure is lying on your back on the floor with a pillow behnd your head....get a friend to put their foot on your womb and apply pressure..... you'll feel the pain suddenly go away at a paticular pressure... get them to hold it there for a bit.... gives you respite from the pain if anything.....
GOOD LUCK SISTER!!!!!

i saw a OB/GYN on oprah say to use a heat pack....and start taking motrin two days before you expect your period to begin, but i guess if you don't want to use painkillers then your only hope is the heat pack/

A hot water bottle will help for now. I have also found that when I'm in good physical condition, I have no cramping at all during menstruation.

place a heating pad across your tummy and/or back. the heat helps the muscles relax. or, taking a hot shower helps relax you as well. exercise is a good way to work out cramps and stuff, but i generally don't feel like doing all that!

My sister used to crawl down the stairs on her back so that it would arch and she said that that helped stop her cramps when it came to that time of month.

i heard from my yoga instructor and my teacher that about a week before you get your period , you should cut off on eating red meats, salt and caffeine and trust me it has worked for me.
