There is no "natural" way to do this (anyone who tells you there is has been exposed to old wives' tales...there's no way the timing of sex or the position or anything you do or ingest will influence the sex of the baby); one way to be more than the standard 50% certain that the baby will be a girl is to have artificial insemination with a procedure that would involve filtering the sperm; there's a procedure they use to separate the "X" bearing ones from the "Y" bearing ones (the ones carrying an X will fall to the bottom of the tube because they're heavier than the Y ones; then they skim off the top layer, leaving the mostly X sperm in the bottom layer for insemination). This isn't 100% foolproof, however. The other way to accomplish this would require in vitro fertilization, because it would be what they call PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis), where they look at the fertilized eggs and determine various characteristics of the early embryos before they're implanted into the uterus. This would be more likely to succeed than sperm separation, but it would be far more expensive.

If you're not wealthy and don't have the resources or the time to commit to these procedures, I like the suggestion of many others here: if you adopt, you can be 100% sure it's a girl and you'd be helping out someone who's already here. And I'd be inclined to wonder why you're so desperate for a girl...though I know of a woman who had eight sons before finally having that much desired daughter. So I guess you're not alone in this kind of situation.

The only way to be sure about it is to adopt. Then, not only do you get a daughter, but you also help a child desperately in need.

There are theories about when to have sex, acidity, etc. that are supposed to help affect which sex child you have, but for my friends who have tried them, none of them have worked.

There is a Chinese chart that can help. Unfortunately I can't remember the site I saw it at. But I looked at it and charted my birth and I was right. Or what ever you did to make the boys do the opposite. Try finding that site. Good Luck

i know theres kits that supposedly can determine the sex u want. there not very natural tho and theyare wickd expensive i would just try and if you get another boy your not gonna love it anyless are you?
