What are you suppose to say when an employer askswhat are the areas for improvement?

I don't feel that I am a bad employee and either will my employers, it just stumps me when they ask that.

Tell them that currently you are o.k., but with the ever changing technology, you are always open to take seminars & classes about improving your techno savvy.

It is not clear to me that your employer was asking about area for improvement for the business in general, your area of responsibility or your performance. If there are things that you might change to help you become more efficient, then tell them that. Otherwise, I wouldn't take it personally.
