Will punkins turn orange after a heavy frost if you have already picked them?

Pumpkins will turn orange when they are ripe--frost has nothing to do with it. If you picked them too early and they are completely green, they probably won't ever completely ripen. Those that are mostly orange will ripen the rest of the way if placed in a warm location in the sun for a few days.
