The Corolla is the best buy for the money. More spacious. Comes with a ton of options. Great gas milage. Good looks, and maintenace is easier.
Hyundai sucks.

The Honda Civic rules over all of the others. It was rated Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2006, c'mon! It was, in the past year, completely re-done. Toyota is now struggling as to what to do with the Corolla (which hasn't changed for the past few years) now that the Honda Civic is here. Mitsubishi almost went out of business. That gives you a hint about the Mitsubishi. The Hyundai is backed by the best warranty in America, but that doesn't mean it's the best car. It's a little car that hasn't changed for years now, there's nothing special about it.
It's an easy choice. The HONDA CIVIC!

Honda civic is the best car to buy and drive + has excellent re-sale values although I would admit that the Toyota Corolla finishes a close second to it
Rest of the cars I would not even consider never mind look at them

I would have to say the Honda Civic. We own a honda civic with 310,000 miles, a manual transmission and haven't had a problem with it. The only maintenance is general maint and change the timing belt every 100,000 miles.

Toyota and Honda are similar in quality and options.
The others are somewhat behind.
None are really bad choices.

go with the honda civic. both are great cars but when it comes to resale value later on honda is number one. for proof of that check out different sites like www.autotrader.com and see what others are going for.
