Don't know how old you are....but whatever you do, use protection -- more than one type if necessary -- anything not to conceive.
Children aren't things. You don't decide to have them or not have them. They are little human beings that become part of your life, and in the bigger picture -- society.
They happen when two people have intercourse without birth control. You can't will them into your life, or wish them out.
Not wanting to start a family with your partner is totally cool. Not everyone should bring other people into this world. Lots of reasons exist...but primarily, if you don't feel as if you could learn to be patient, loving, and kind with a little one (your statement about kids angering you is telling) then you really should do yourself and the unintended consequence of sex a big favor and do everything in your power to prevent having a child.
Again, its not bad -- its just not for you. There are lots of great, kind, productive people who chose not to have kids. So, unless you feel like there is an underlying reason why you don't want kids...then just accept that is who you are. It's ok, really.

If that is the way you feel, you are entitled to do or not do with your body as you see fit. The worse thing you could do would be to get pregnant now. If after you turn 27 yrs old, you change your mind, then you change your mind. And you may just do that...
In the meantime, think about what, why, when the kids anger you? Hum, how your parents must have felt and handled you?
Yep, kids are a pain in the arst! But I love both of mine and wish they would have more grand kids for me to spoil. Hugs to you!

I would suggest that you never ever date anyone that wants kids and be honest up front about how much you hate kids since you can't change his mind if he really wants kids and it's unfair to expect him to do so. The only sure way of not getting pregnant is to get a hysterectomy since all birth control methods have failure rates. I would also suggest since a prior post states that you are 14 that you use good birth control and see how you feel in another 10 years.

I dont understand.. But I think the answer to this question is yes they can conceive! If you have eggs, and he has sperm.. Then yes.
If you dont want kids, Its probably best that you dont have them because you wouldnt be a good parent.
I felt the same way like 3 years ago.. But now Im looking more towards having a baby someday.
Maybe you should use condoms and birthcontrol, if you dont wanna have a child of your own.

Don't have any then. To keep from getting pregnant use birth control. In my mind the best way to keep from conceiving is to not have sex. To not have sex is to not be married. Marriage won't last very long without sex. Don't go and get FIXED as when you grow up and decide to have kids then you can't. I know the world is over populated and we are running out of natural resources and the Koreans have the bomb and the religious idiots in Iraq and other Arab countries want us all dead, but look on the bright side, who will carry on your name and who will you brag on when they get on the honor roll or hit a home run in little league. Not wanting to get pregnant won't make it so...

Conceive means to get pregnant ... if you do not want kids then you will not conceive you will protect yourself so that it won't happen . If you are careless then yes you will become pregnant. Try getting birth control , I recommend the IUD ,its inserted inside of you and you cannot have kids for 7yrs. Every 7 yrs you go to the dr and get a new one in.

alot of couples aren't the parent type. The ones who realize it are the reasonable ones. Just always take the extra per caution not to. It doesn't make you a bad person just a person who knows what they want. The ones who have kids that didn't want them are the irresponsible ones.

That is why abortions happen! people don't want kids and end up getting pregnant regardless, if they are not careful. the only sure way to stop a pregnancy is to not have sex.
