My headlights both went out at the same time. I've tried the fuses, and a neighbor who replaced the relay, with no answer. So it's somewhere in the wiring for sure.

Well if the fuse is good and the relay is good, I would check for power at the headlight bulb (with the switch on!)
If you don't have power at the terminals of the headlight socket, you could either have a bad headlight switch or a bad ground. Sometimes called a combination/turn signal switch. Another possibility is the dimmer switch. Usually in newer cars it's all part of the combination/turn signal switch.

Ohh...possibly an ignition switch, usually more symptoms though, so not likely.
Good Luck

the headlight switch may have gone bad or the dimmer switch. If you hit a very large chuck hole or sustained an impact to the front of vehicle, the filiments in the headlights may have broken, and would need replacing. Do the taillights and dashlights work when you turn on headlights? Unplug a headlight and use a circuit tester (with headlights switched on) and see if you have power and ground at each headlight. If you do, the headlights are bad. If you don't check both the switches I mentioned earlier. good luck

First off. Turn your lights on. If they are not on click the brights on. If they come on, the problem is either you have two head lights that need to be replaced, Or the dimmer switch is bad." That would be what ever switch you activated to turn the brights on." Or you have a bad ground for your low beam headlight circuit..In which case I'd jiggle the wires on your headlights and see if they flicker or come on in a different position when moved.

Not sure what the exact problem is as far as how it is acting but I have come across several problems with the wire ends on this model. If its an intermttant problem try jiggeling the plugs at the headlights

you have more than one fuse for the head lights. also it could be in your light switch too.
