I'd like to know what man's highest end is on this earth, in accordance to Greek philosophy. Preferably in relation to the concept of the play Oedipus Rex. Thanks!

Man's highest end was to be of service to both the Gods and to Man. Not easy to do, eh Prometheus?

Oedipus Rex is by far one of my most hated concerns, it is the son stealing his fathers wife. i once had a girl friend who adult son was trying to destroy me by using lies & ahlcohol to gain his mother, what are your thoughts of this there is no high ground here, but it is the dialog of traitorous divorces today and is the revenge of sadistic sources
