April of the following year, they made one last attempt by releasing a third single from Awake and Breathe, but it stalled lower than any other single, peaking at a lowly No.16. B*witched's huge success had come to an end by mid 1999 and they were failing in the charts miserably during mid 2000. Their No.16 release was their final release and plans for a third album to be made were scrapped. They officially split in 2002. Despite only being on the music scene for about 2 years, B*witched will always be remembered for their festive mix of Irish country and mainstream pop and their spirited attitude towards life.

They were dropped in 2002 by their record label (at the time they were filming the video for their 8th single ("Where Will You Go")

A new record company (Redbell) were going to sign them up but the plans didn't work out. They split in September 2002 after Sinead quit.
