different types of fish oils are helpful for cholesterol probelms, i don't think they are known to benifit fatty liver, good luck

1000 mg is the total weight of the fish oil. What is the serving size of your fish oil? Is that per one or two soft gels? EPA and DHA are components of the fish oil. Does your bottle give a break down of the epa and dha or is that the total for both. If not than the 300mg is the total amount of DHA and EPA, then the remaining amount is the other omega 3s not listed.
