Better in what? service or car's reliability?
I presently own a honda accord, toyota corolla S, and scion TC. I used to have civic and honda accord which both I destroyed from an accident.
My brothers and sister do love their honda and toyota's car. Thru experience I would say they both very reliable and when it come down to management, price, and service, Toyota wins hands down.
Toyota's steering is more controled and easy to turn.
I pay almost $40 for oil change on my accord and $25 for a toyota corolla S, and in toyota if you waited more than an hour you will get a free oil change coupon.

for street racing i would go for the honda but if your looking for a day to day driver you should go with the toyota thay make VERY good cars and trucks i have 2 toyota's with over 200'000 miles on them with no brake downs

Hondas are more reliable while toyotas are better for a family or lots of people, as they are roomy

At the moment, Honda is going up because of it's cheapness and reliability.
Toyota is going down... compared to other asian companies, Toyota is expensive... besides, Japan's economy is sorta fluctuating while Korea is building

apples and oranges, Honda probably makes a better car, while Toyota probably makes a better truck/suv. However this is all in the eye of the beholder.

i had a toyota tercel and i recently purchased a honda civic. the toyota is a great no frills point a to point b car while the civic is fun to drive. honda all the way.
