what's the lesser of two evils?
he was distruptive and probably annoying everyone around him. maybe the skit went on too long, but that was the way she put the performance together. it was her show and she decided the content.
on the other hand, is it fair to hold an audience captive to your political views? I could see where she might think the rest of the country feels the same way, but it was supposed to be a night of song and music.
The heckler could have just said, this is too much non music entertainment and demanded his money back.
I think Barbra, being Barbra ignored it as long as possible and then "blew". If it were a comedian or a rock star everyone would have laughed.

No! Hecklers should be shot and left left laying until the performance is over. I pay to see the artist, not some crude obnoxious idiot that can't get attention without being obnoxious.
I couldn't exercise the restraint that some performers do even for the money.
By the way, I relly dislike barbara striesand.

For what those people had to pay for those seats, she should have entertained them with her music and spared them her political rants.
I know she's famous and all, but for what she's charging for the show, she loses the moral high ground she needs to express her politics.

I think it's just in bad taste to stop a production to address someone in the audience even hecklers (except comedy - then it works). People go to hear her sing - not see her skits about politics much less see her chide someone for not liking the skit.

Of course not. The fan was trying to rile her and she's allowed to respond without the usual "Thank you for your question".
