I would not require any other time than the days I grew up in I was a kid in the 1940s I started infant school 1950 the 1950s gave you an in sight at what is was like in the 1920s/30s cause we were brought up in the same houses the same rules and moral conditions . the laws and no hesitation of a clout round the ear if you stepped out of line The mid 1960s saw the change in moral standards the first time performers taking drugs EG LSD All this free love was only on film the girls didn't just start sleeping with every one they were has they were bought up had to have the ring on the finger they were frightened of getting preggers any way the working class didn't do all that flower power crapp It was the students that did all that 1960s was time of inventions people were a bit better off money wise .this country was still in debt from the war to the USA by millions. But people were happier then cause they knew there vocation in life they do not today some things have changed for the better but more things are so stupid political rights softness on the perpetrate rs of crime human rights animal rights weve all gone potty today no back bone at all plus other crapp today here endeth lesson one

Why would anyone want to go back to the age when there was NO real medicine available. You either suffered or died. You worked or you starved.
My favorite time would be the one that is now ending. First off, penicillin was discovered. That eased a lot of suffering. America grew more and done more great things from the 40s to present than any other era. Just look at all the medicines, electronics and great advances in all areas of our lives.
The generation before the late 40s had it tough. From the late 40s to present, very easy living. Now.....things seem to be going straight down hill. The "baby boomers" have had the best life ever. Future generations may have it bad. Pops

if i was rich the the georgan / victorian period because of the way gentelmen used to act. i love the idea of being a respected, honourable english gentelman.
if i wasn't rich i would most want to live in the 1950's and get rich by investing in what i knew would be a success and general have a wild time.

I would go back to when my Dad and his sisters were growing up in the 60's. They have some of the most amazing stories and had the best fun ever! I would also get to meet all the members of my family that I've heard all about and apparantly resemble, but have never known.

The Victorian age, yeah you girls had lovely dresses and such like, but no indoor baths or showers, no real washing facilities, no deoderant or femfresh for those 'hard to reach' areas. You may all have looked a pretty picture but open the wrapper and.................................Nah, think I'll stay in the here and now!!

I defo wouldn't go back to then...... I wouldn't be as well off for a start. And the disease and pollution was worse. I wouldn't be able to cope with being proper and all that. I must agree the dresses are very nice, they feel great to wear.
I would probably just go to the 60's. FANTASTIC! I'm sad I missed them. In time for the hippy flower power and psychedelic stuff.

I think i'd be an Ancient Egyptian. I'm facinated by the Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs. So i'd probably be a scribe.
Maybe i have, in a past life..
Its said that usually if youre interested in a certain period of time in History, its because you probably were there(in a past life)..

Better to live in a future time period and see the Shape of Things to Come, who knows the World may reverse its misfortunes.
We know History, so why relive it?
