no u dont have to consult ur wifw about everything she is not ur boss or she does not own u but u should be honest and truthful to her and respect ur wedding vows

I think you as a couple need to keep each other in the loop. All major decisions should be discussed between both of you. If you want to go with a guy friend for a drink I think you should ask her if she had any other plans before you just go. If you are planning on going out with men and women co workers unless it is for a meeting then she should be asked if she wants to go. Communication is what keeps a relationship strong and no I don't think you should ask her what you should eat for lunch or what color socks to wear unless you really want her help.
