I have small breasts and am dying to get implants. I have read alot about implants and apparently the dnager is in the risk of post surgical infection. Also silicone can cause systemic problems . They have saline implants now that are supposed to be safer, but the capsule that they fill with the saline is still silicone. I work for a group of doctors and they all tell me-don't do it. They say that women with implants are harder to detect breast cancer in (using mammography). And that the majority of women with impnats have to ahave another surgery within 10 years due to leaks etc.

No. There is no reason to ever have breast implants. Not health wise, and especially not money wise. Think of how many times in your life you will have to get back in surgery to change the old ones for new implants. Think about the risks. It won't make you feel better about yourself either. If you are considering doing it for your partner, that must be the worst reason for doing it. Who would want to be with someone loving them for the size of their breasts? I think the people pushing flatter chested women into having breast enhancing surgery, need some brain implants.

Everyone seems to be saying no to this question, but i have to disagree. I had small breasts and after having a chid and breastfeeding they became practically non existant. I went to a good plastic surgeon and had 36c implants so i didn't go over the top with them. It was the best thing i ever did, my confidence soared and it makes my figure look great. Always do your homework first though on good surgeons.

Hi not unless you are very depress about them, I on the other hand want the other way round smaller breasts. Just because you have small breasts doesnt mean to day that you have to make them bigger. If you are quite sllim also i think having small breasts is ok. Its when you are slim with big breast that is the problem. If you go for a consultation i think they give you a bra with the size cups you want to be to get use to them first.

I suppose so, if that's what she wants.
But I think it's a shame that people can't learn to be happy with the way they are. Are different sized breasts really going to make someone's life different - I doubt it really.
Women thinking about cosmetic surgery also need to consider the fact that it is just that - surgery, and cosmetic rather than necessary. There are risks with any surgery.
But at the end of the day it's up to the individual - they need to weigh up the pros and cons and decide for themselves.

Depends... on your defenition of small. If small is "not big enough to make cannons," hell no... If people start thinking the lady is a guy, i think she'd better... Always remember though, that there are more important things than boobs you can use the money for... besides.... implants are hard and heavy...

It is up to the lady. If the lady is not confident and feels having larger breasts whould make her more comfotable then go for it. BUT never do it because a man says so, it is up to the lady her body, after all the lady needs to have them and enjoy them for the rest of her life!!

If the lady is comfortable with herself then no ..if the young lady wants to do this for herself and nobody else's benefit then sure go for it..its about being true to yourself..if you or she feels that larger breast will make her the woman she wants to be then yes ..but she shouldn't do it just for a mans benefit

depends. are you happy the way you are?? If so, then just be happy and to heck with it. I have a friend who has huge breasts and i really feel sorry for her, they get in the way and she has to buy bigger shirts because all the cute ones are too small for her and her breasts are very heavyand she gets back pain a lot. she wants to have surgury to reduce them. this makes me happy with what i have got and not worry about size as much, it could always be worse!

Only if they feel incomplete. Millions of women are happy that their chest doesn't get in the way when they try to get on with things, from a physical and mental p.o.v.
Implants cost, and they are not for life......... Small ones won't sag as much if at all.
