It takes great confidence and self-assuredness to reach out to those who are different without feeling threatened by them. Fear of those who are different, born of an insecurity and weak sense of self, often comes off as anger and finger-pointing. Anger and frustration are born of a lack of personal power -- personal power is what is needed to achieve goals, make money, build a life and connect with people (etc.). Without that sense of self and potency, a person will become angry. That feeling of powerlessness is always present in those spouting angry racial slurs -- if you look closely...really closely...you can see the fear in their eyes.
Authoritarian attitude is tricky -- let's assume we're talking about an unhealthy sense of authority. Again, this comes back to ruling with an iron fist out of fear of losing what little power one has. We've all had bosses that are just no adept at motivating the troops. These people are not leaders -- they also have that weak sense of self and the constant fear that they will lose their power.
That which we hold down will fight and rise up stronger. It takes great strength and courage to live and let be.

Low self esteem Does lead to what may be called "bullying" and "prejudice", so you are right about that. How? Prejudice may be a way for one to attract attention to themselves, good or bad attention.
Frustration simply keeps your mind so busy with your own problems that you don't have the priority to think about what you are doing to others.
