you have to learn to see the spirituality and inter-connectedness of things, look beneath the surface. I am not religious. I think religion isn't very spiritual at all and it is for people who go to church once a week and feel superior to others. It is harder to live with "namaste", which basically means "the spirit in me recognizes the spirit in you".

Dear Sir, or Madam:
Don't worry about it for one more minute.
You are being observant and intelligent.
It is perfectly natural to notice the flaws
in other people and the blindsightedness
of certain groups
Your mission in life should be to get as good
an education as is possible, and move into a
creative and productive work position where
your talents can benefit society. Always
remember to try and help out those less fortunate
than yourself, and do the right things in life.
That charge (assignment), if taken to heart,
will leave you little time to dwell on the failings
of others. Turn away from those that criticise you
and focus your thoughts and energies on doing
productive things. If you begin to have attacks of
self doubt at any time, commence counting the
beneficial and helpful things you have accomplished.
After the attack has passed, return to your
assignment with new conviction and energy. You
will be rewarded each and every time you look
back at your accomplishments.

I was in your situation for may years! I started looking at other beliefs wondering why some books of the Bible are acceptable and some are not. Who decides, some archaic scholar that's been dead for centuries? Then an old man at a bus stop gave me some wisdom that I will always cherish. (strange place to find wisdom, I know!) When Christ said "pick up your cross and follow me" he didn't mean follow his followers. If you look at Christians to see God you will always be let down. Look at God to see God. You are now on the path to true wisdom. I know that religious people tend to suffer more than most. I thought it was because they wait on God to do everything for them. I've been successful only after I accepted that God gave me the ability to handle many problems myself. Why wait for a gift when through hard work I can get it faster and feel more appreciative about it.

You are probably just having a religious/philosophical awakening. I was depressed when I came to terms with it because its kind of like saying "wow we really are alone" but it can be exciting too because what you believe in is a part of you. You may also feel like you are disappointing someone special in your life such as family, kids, friends who believe in a god. They love you because you're you and not because of your beliefs. Its okay, and it doesn't mean anything different about the type of person you are.

This world can be so depressing .........if you let it.
King Solomon spoke about everything you are talking about in the bible book Ecclesiastes........that would be extremely helpful if you read it. He had everything he could buy with money and he wasn't happy. He spoke about everything being vanity and striving after the wind.....at the end of that bible book he ends it by saying the conclusion of the matter is to fear God and keep His commandments and that this is the whole obligation of man. Please read it and that will help you look at things a bit differently.
And when things get crazy it helps to remind yourself that at this moment Satan rules this system......and it will not be for much longer. And he would love for you to turn on God and blame Him for how the people act.
Remember what Job went through....losing his kids, livestock, being struck with leprosy..... even his own friends and wife made him feel worse about his situation..instead of helping him...but he never gave up on God and held on to his integrity. And in the end he was blessed with twice of that he had before Satan tested him.
Perhaps you could find someone to help you find the things needed to strengthen your faith in God from the bible.......and the number one thing to help is always pray to God......keep the communication open and He will help you if you show you have faith and want to serve Him sincerely and honestly.
You need to keep your hope strong in God. Daily bible reading will also help.
So many people think that God is to blame for the way this system is. If you learn what the bible says and stregthen your faith in God you will learn that there is a reason behind all this chaos in the world and it has to do with Satan raising the question about God's right to rule over man and if man will serve God during good and bad times. God has a certain time when he will step in and say 'times up' to Satan. So right now is the time when people can prove whether they really want to serve God or not. Proverbs 27:11...you can help God make a reply to the one taunting him by becoming strong in serving God.
When/If someone shows up at your door with a special religious tract about false religon that is being given out worldwide....please accept it and talk to them about how you have been feeling.......

Listen, being evil does not make you succeed. And there are a lot of people who believe in God who are very successful. The world is in shambles these days and that really stinks. No one can tell you what to do. You can only do what is right for you. Good luck in finding your path to happiness. I hope you can find what you need. But I pray that you pray and let God help you on your journey.

shall I ask you an revert question? We've been a Friend for a long time....what do you say we stop?complications even in the closest of friendship;the obligation of friendship, including when the parties are differing in age, economic and other back grounds;Friendship between God and You ? Friendship between man and woman doesn't exist outside of sexual interest.-having to do -I am charmed by smallish things that grow into larger ones.- Relationship with God is often an educational at least a reprieve from loneliness at a best connection of the highest and grandest kind.Contradictory ideas head at some times- Listen and he will come ( joke)he's still listening with an open heart.....make no mistakes about it...we are all lost.

In the bible it says that the people who are doing good here on earth may suffer from time to time but after death they will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Its like doing good and not seeing the fruits until a later time. If people are patient good things come to all of us. If you believe that is fine if you dont that is fine to just remember god is always there when you need him

I think it's more that your loosing faith, so this is for you.
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

Your thoughts are normal. You are struggling with your faith. You need to make peace with yourself.God gave us our minds. What we do with them is up to us.He doesn't control what we do.Some people choose to be evil.He has given us the tools so to speak. It is up to us how we use it.You are unhappy and depressed because you are a decent person who hates the immortality others show.Follow your heart and find the peace within.
