I would say no. I think there actually a communist party that has a Presidential Candidate come election time. Most people never hear of them.

There are provisions regarding undesirable aliens, but none that I am aware of for political affiliations. We have the communist party in the United States, but it doesn't enjoy a large amount of support. Now, if as a member of the communist party it could be proved that you had acted in a subversive manner towards American interests then you would rightfully be denied immigration and legal status.
