--"All Night Long" (performed by Faith Evans feat. Puff Daddy), written by F. Evans/R. Lawrence/ S. Combs/ S. Crawford/T. Russaw/ T. Gaither/G. Underwood/ B. Reed, "contains excerpts of "I Hear Music In The Streets", written by G. Underwood & B. Reed". Because this refers to excerpts instead of "samples", and the attribution on the liner notes credits permission from publishers, but not a record label, I believe this sampling is probably re-played by new musicians. "I Hear Music In The Streets" was originally performed by the group Unlimited Touch and was a hit in 1981 on the R & B charts (according to Billboard R & B hits book) on Prelude Records.

But the real authors of "I Hear Music In The Streets" are William Anderson (also known as Bubba) and Bert Reid, original members of Crown Heights Affair, who produced Unlimited Touch. Bert Reid wrote the lyrics to "I Hear Music in the Streets", (with Galen "Lenny" Underwood from Unlimited Touch as co-writer) and Anderson produced it with him.
