I used to be able to run 5K in 23 min. That was a little while ago though

start off with a 5 k run, give yourself a time limit, if you dont do it ni the time then stop, no point killing yourself, next night use the same limit, ull get closer and closer, once you break the limit up the ante, set distances and times and keep going till you feel amazing about your athletic ability, then whatever you do, dnt let it all go to pot after ur marathon, if it wasnt too long ago u did the 5 k in 23 mins you should find it easy enough to get into a routine, thats the hard part, once your in a routine, getting better is just part of it, all the best with your fitness plan, and good luck in your marathon

run 20k everyday at your own speed and when you run 10k it will seem easy
