I liked Billy Joel's story : here's a part of it :
Joel slid into a depression that included a half-hearted attempt at suicide, by drinking half a bottle of furniture polish. A very brief self-imposed stay at a psychiatric hospital convinced him that his problems were minor. "I got out and the door closed behind me and I walked down the street and said, 'Oh, I'll never get that low again.' It was one of the best things I ever did, because I've never gotten to feel sorry for myself, no matter what's happened." Joel's 1985 song, 'You're Only Human,' would focus on the problem of teen suicide.
