It's normal I was like that too - some females get their periods late and some don't. Every female's body is different. My cousing didn't get her period till she was 18 so don't worry.

Your body will start menstruating when it's good and ready. You're not abnormal at all -- as other people have said, there are many women that don't start their period until they're 17 and 18!
Enjoy this time without one. I started my period when I was 11, and you can imagine how traumatic it was to wear pads in elementary school. :(

depending on your ethnicity, 15 may not be abnormal. sure, it is later than most women, but not that strange. if your doctor is concerned, he will do tests. if he isn't worried, you probably don't need to worry either.
i'm of germanic ancestry, and i started my period at 14, though i had developed secondary characteristics about the age of 11 or 12.

Do you have other signs of puberty, like breast development, body hair, etc? If you do, that means you are developing normally, just give it time. If you don't have these signs by the time you're 16 or so, you might have something called Turner Syndrome. By that time, if your doctor doesn't know, you might need a new doctor.

Well, ya know I am 38 and I didn't have my first period until I was 15 and alot of my friends had started earlier than me. I think it will happen when it is your time. Everybody develops differently, honey.

Are you underweight? That's a possibility. If not, consider the possibility that your body is still growing, menstruation usually starts when your body stops growing. I was 16, and trust me, I considered myself very LUCKY.
