Year and model not engine size diesel gas? Hard to tell add five qts dip the stick and add one at a time until it is full

15 of 15W40 EXACTLY, if it's equipped with 7.3L DIT. If it's the gasoline 5.4L V8 or 6.8L V10, they both take 6.5 of 5W20. 19mm drain plug for the diesel, 16mm drain plug for the gasoline. Hope this helps. And I do not own my own shop LOL.

i own a repair shop,and id look in the owners manual to be sure ,i always do here in the shop,there always right on it,sometimes here you can get a good guess or a Good answer but they way i do them i always add 5 quarts to them and then see how much it needs from there,i usually start one to circulate it,id just add it until it gets close to the full line,they hold a lot of oil though,good luck i hope this help,s.,,PS run it and then re-check it,good luck.
