Chipmunks that have long been silent about their oppression will unite and begin by eating through power cables to, in effect, to render us powerless. They will then work on uniting the animal kingdom against us and slowly claim dominion over the entire world. We will become their pets and in a final coup to try and regain power we will begin setting them on fire. The animals, on fire, will begin running to get away and will set the entire earth ablaze and we will be unable to quench it. So, I guess my answer will be fire and chipmunks.

I think by the next grand extinction, when all the volcanoes erupt, hurricanes sweep the world, title waves, earth quakes, tornadoes, when just about every natural disaster occures!
