i have userport,winxp,win95io.dll and my parallel ports are giving output without my vb6 program.any sugg?

if youre parallel ports are outputing data without your app telling them then it means that somethings trying to talk to a non existant device or that a program is watching incase information that it needs to deal with is sent. If you try loading in safe mode and testing the output of the port then you might be able to find out if its a windows program, or a foreign program(A program not crucial to windows).
