If clicking the + button doesn't work, drag the bottom right corner of your browser window to the maximum width of your display resolution. You can click on View-->Make text bigger after browser adjustment

For watching videos and such, I found it was not possible to do it in Safari. You could expand the box to it's maximum size but the menu bar on the top and page info bar were always still displayed. My friend discovered that if you download Chrome and use that instead... the full screen feature works beautifully.

click on the little yellow button on the top left

Click it on to maximize - - you will see three boxes
the middle box is maximize try it you can't go wrong.
