My g-ma just bought me some bare essentials make up. it wasnt that expensive but i heard it works sooo good so i thought i would give it a try..Does this stuff really hide flaws? and does it cover up acne? i havent got it in the mail but im wondering if its worth as much as we payed for! thnx for the help!

I just went to Sephora yesterday and tried it. I thought it looked mask-like and was a little fussy b/c you have to use 2 colors of powder so that you get "natural" looking coverage. It did cover the pigment differences in my skin (darkness under the eyes, freckles), but I decided not to buy it.
I think if you normally wear foundation, you'll think it works fine. If you don't usually wear foundation, it might take some getting used to.

I wear Bare Esscentuals and love it. When you get it, there will most likely be a concealer brush which you can use to cover any flaws (i.e. circles under your eyes and pimples). When I first started using Bare Esscentuals, I got the "starter pack" which included a CD on how to use the products so you look good and not mask like. Before I started using Bare Esscentuals, my face broke out all the time and now it rarely does. So I hope it works for you as well. It does take a little bit of time to get used to it, so keep that in mind (that tip helped me)

I absolutely LOVE this make up!!! i would never use any other face make up, because it does everything it says it does. It covers everything including acne really well. Believe me you will love it!

I have bare minerals . I think that it works like a god. All of my blemashes are gone. It also feels like your skin is bare . I love it and hope you enjoy it as much as i do

I don't use, but know many who do. They love it and it looks great. Those who use say it lasts a long time; they don't have to replace often. I did like it, but I am stuck on studio fix, and lancome liquid.

I LOVE it... you havet o practice on how you put it on... you do have to shake the excess off before you apply it to your face...
