I would imagine there are very few people who've never taken someone else's advice, then regretted it...

I'm not typically indecisive, and I'll research something (if applicable) before making a decision so I can make an informed one...I tend to do that, instead of asking the opinion of friends (although I will sometimes ask their opinion)...

I don't want others to make up my mind, but if I ask for input I want honest input...if I take that advice and the result isn't what was desired, I'm not upset with them...it was still me who made the decision...

I can't think of any specific examples at the moment, of me taking someone else's advice and regretting it...but I know I've done it over the years...I don't tend to take their advice though, unless it's pretty much inline with what I was already thinking anyway...

I am a pretty indecisive person... I hate making decisions myself because I hate the pressure. If it is the simplest thing from deciding where to have lunch when I am out with a friend to life or death situations like when my dad was dying... I am his only child and I didn't want to make any decision alone, so even though he and my mom were separated for years I asked her to make them with me....

Sometimes I go along with other suggestions and I haven't really regretted anything yet... Because if its that bad of a suggestion it just insures I am doing the right thing..lol

Like I said I don't do well under pressure and I guess that's why I don't like to make a lot of decisions... I am fearful of upsetting people or doing the wrong thing....

On this matter I try to live by the idea that, "the first thought that comes to mind is what you should act on." The reason being that as it is the first thing you think about, then that is what you feel/believe to be the right thing for you at that time in your life.

I am used to be very undecisive. Lately, I've been able to make up my mind about things and make my decisions. I usually don't like asking people for suggestions, but if I do, I usually still go with what I think is the right decision. I only trust myself with my own problems. Now, it's becoming easier for me to make big decisions.

Yeah I've done that before... but most of the time I just ask for advice.... then go with my instinct. More often than not, I'm right...

I've found that if I go with other peoples advice, they don't often know the full story, so they cant fully understand the situation.

Instinct is best, but its always good to get a bit of advice first.

I never had the luxury to be indecisive, to survive I had to make life changing decisions, many times they turned out to be wrong.

When I have made my mind up about doing something I do it! Even if what I do is the wrong decision, we have to learn by our mistakes. Indecisive is something I have never been.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in my life was listening to well meaning people concerning what I should do with my life.
After years of misery I decided to be true to myself and have been happier and led a much richer life for it.

Normally I am sure about what I want, and if I don't i ask advice from someone I know, is more capable in that area than me.
