Is it harder to own a house now?

I owned my first home at the age of 24. I have had 3 homes since this time. As far as it being hard to own a home now, I don't think so. It's definitely a buyers market now, you might find some pretty good deals. The sooner the better, real estate is such a good investment, you can't loose, if you research before buying. Good luck.

Yes, I own a house. I was 23 years old when I financed my first home. I believe it is easier to own a home today then it was years ago....There are alot more mortgage choices out there. You can even purchase with no money down, no Doc loans and even add your closing cost to the loan itself.

Yes, i was maybe 26-27..at the time it seemed hard..as far the getting the paperwork all together. I've bought a couple more..is it's about the same..the mortage companies ..closing folks work with you....it's not bad..
