I think we all stretch the truth every now and then. Just like when I was pregnant with my kids. My husband kept telling me I looked beautiful, even if I hadn't showered and my hair was a mess. As a nurse I have patients ask me if their condition is bad. So they don't freak out I tell them no, lots of people have what you have.

Well, I try not to lie, even if I say something and I know in my heart is true. However, whenever I say something that I know is true, everyone calls me a liar, and I am beginning to think they are absolutely right. That is one of the reasons why I don't have a boyfriend.

It depends on what it is. Most of the time I do tell the truth. But if it is going to hurt someone, I will lie about it.

Yes.
Especially if it makes the difference between being in the doghouse or being in the proper house.
I'm too much of a coward to always be telling the truth.

Only to spare someone's feelings from being hurt. Or to get out of trouble, or maybe to impress someone. And sometimes to make myself look good. Once in a while to get out of doing something...oh and also to get into bars when I was under age. Sometimes to get my brother in trouble when I was younger, but that's the only times...I swear!

Almost never. Okay, I will tell little white lies to cheer people up or to build up their confidence. It takes too much energy to keep up with a web of deceit. Just take responsibility and get it over with.

No i don't think i do i mean what is the point cuz when the truth comes out its is like gonna be like 1,000 times worse then if you would have just said the truth in the beginning. but yes i have lied before but i don't now. no matter what. everyone would be lying to say they haven't EVER lied b4.... cuz everyone has. doesn't anyone remember like when you're a little kid we all went thru that little lying stage. like... "Hey what happened to the cookies?" and you said... "the dog ate them not me" (ok i tried to give an example but it didn't fully work lol. you get it!)
