Yes, a Christian could get a job in a Muslim. I used to be a teacher in a Muslim school teaching Grade one, in fact several Christain teachers worked there. And in the Middle East there are hundreds of Christain teachers working in Muslim schools.

A muslim teacher would not get a job in a specialised Christian school, such as a Roman Catholic school.
Whether a Christian teacher would get job in a muslim school would depend on the school.
Did the interviewers of this veiled woman not notice the veil during the interview? How long had this teacher been wearing a veil before it became an issue?
This whole veil issue has been stirred up by the government to distract people from the internal divisions of the Labour Party.
The result of the tribunal? Whatever suits the government.

This is they type of topic that is very hard to discuss without objectivity.
Many Muslim women have their faces (except their eyes) covered. Many Muslim women have their faces fully uncovered. It is their choice! This teacher did not have her face covered when teaching the children or when other women were present. She did however, cover her face when men were present. For this woman I believe it is a question of modesty?
However, this brings us to the question of different peoples (eastern or African) living in western countries with totally different values and cultures. Things that are different scare people. There is nothing wrong in that. The problem arises when those who are afraid don't try to understand these differences. The problem arises when those who are afraid direct hate etc towards those who appear different because they are from a different world!
I think that the greatest problem re different cultures etc in western europe is that these peoples have been quartered, so to speak, in one area and so creating a ghetto type situation where they become preceived as a threat because there are so many of them. Not being intergrated and dispersed throughout society they themselves feel left out and that they must look out form themselves.
Maybe if they had have been dispersed thought society instead of being ghettoised they would have better integrated and accepted the values of western society more easily?
Having said all this however it is also up to the Muslim communities to try and integrate more.
Those who understand that they live in a society which is totally different from theirs and that they have responsibities to that society will not go far wrong. On the other hand those who believe that the society they are living in is a non believing great Satan type socity should go back to their own society where they would be more at home.
As an immigrant it is their duty to give alligence to the country they have chosen to live in. If they cannot do so then they should leave. That is the freedom of choice they have in western society.

i think of that's this is unjustified. only because of the fact the female who became fired from British airlines for no longer eliminating her gold bypass. Her argument became that if muslim women human beings interior the organization can placed on head scarves as paintings, why can no longer she placed on her non secular image proudly? I even have confidence that the place she worships would not be counted. it ought to be any style of coincidences. The bombers might are turning out to be aquainted at what handed off to be between the only mosques interior the the section. And as for the training? dad and mom are loose to deliver their toddlers to extraordinarily lots any college they want. in the event that they're unhappy with a instructor's coaching kind, then this is as much as them to place them in a college room enviorment they experience is ultimate for his or her little ones. yet fact of the problem is, maximum muslim women human beings, liberal or no longer, have confidence that being veiled is a intense honour of their faith. only as freedom of speech is an honor for human beings.

I grew up in a Muslim country and in a Muslim school and nearly 30% of the teachers were Christians. Nearly 80% of my teachers in GCSE in a Muslim country in a state school were -excellent- christian teachers.
The other part of your questions, I do not think it was appropriate what the teacher did, she agreed to take the job and agreed to remove the veil in school, they are kids and she is not even have to were head scarf in front of children. She is exaggerating a bit.

You are a hateful shower, aren't you.
I believe that this lady is in the wrong - that she should not wear her veil in the classroom and that if she refuses to remove it that she should be sacked. I trust that a tribunal will uphold such a decision. But I'm not going to turn it into an anti-Islamic rant like some of you lot.
Plenty of Christians work in Islamic schools. And Jews work in Christian schools. And Hindus in Jewish schools. Most of us haven't got any problem with that.
I think a lot of you are loving this case as it gives you the chance to air your hate. Pathetic.

I suppose that given the bias towards appeasing people of the Islamic faith here in the UK by our Government, the teaching assistant will come out of the tribunal as having the right to wear a full veil. This is a Christian country with minority ethnic groups of other religious faiths who are allowed to practise their religion and wear symbols of their religion, yet we cannot be seen wearing the symbol of Christianity (The Cross)
It is time that the Government of this country stood by and protected our right as Christian to openly wear our christian symbols. For God's sake Sikhs are allowed to carry a religious dagger, Muslims are allow openly to full cover their faces in public (Men and Women) but a christian in a christian country would face a 6 year prison term for carrying the same dagger or be approached by the police if they were wearing an Arab headdress which covered their face like a highwayman.
Why????

Firstly, she is not a teacher, she is a support assistant.
She took off her niquab (face covering) in class when there were no male adults present, but only put it back on when a man entered the room in accordance with her religion. No pupils have complained, or parents. I heard her speak on Radio 4 yesterday with her niquab on and could hear her prefectly well - so all this 'impedement of communication' is a load of rubbish!

Dont know what you are talking about, however, if you have a muslim teacher wearing the bibical type of clothes and you don't like it and can not get her out, you leave, I was always told by my parents, "When in Rome act like a Roman>" I am Jewish and I want to just say that I once taught English in a Christian schoool. The principal aPriest was great, of course we had an understanding that I would not inflict my values on the children, nor would they inflict theirs on me, It was the best job I have ever had.

A good place to start brainwashing. Union backed too?
Pay or Pray for a better education has real meaning now.
It could only happen under the protection afforded by law for anyone who isn't British.
It was called the 5th Column in the last war, but it couldn't be called that today.
Equal Column perhaps?
But, equal to whom?
Not me I don't have such rights.
