That's a pretty shameless plug there for himself by "5starauthor". I'm also going to go with the Cornelia Funke and Christopher Paolini stuff-- absolutely fabulous. It is so hard anymore to get good fantasy though without all of the sex and violence. You almost have to go into the young adult and intermediates genres to get anything at all. You might try the "His Dark Materials" series by Phillip Pullman -- Awesome as well -- good luck

All the David Eddings series: The Belgariad, The Malloreon, The Tamuli, and The Elenium. All great reads and basically no sex or gore(meaning only a few very brief allusions in more than 20 books) Not the most challenging of fantasy novels but they are among the best I've ever read and you won't be able to put them down. You might also want to take a look a look at Raymond Feist's Riftwar Saga. Hope this helps and happy reading.

The Elemental Masters series by Mercedes Lackey is pretty good. It's set place in the Victorian Era.
If you like more King Arthur stuff, The Pendragon Cycle by Stephen Lawhead is great. The first book in that series is Taliesen.
If you are a fan of high fantasy The Sword of Shannara by Terry Books is a classic. It's kind of scary with evil wraiths and stuff but, no were as gory as The Voyage of Jerle Shanara Trilogy.

Inkheart and InkSPell by Cornelia Funke are both good. I would suggest Tamora Pierce, but she has sexual innuendo, although I know she's written a couple of children's fantasy, I assume they don't have any of that in them. She's a very good author. DragonRider is also by Cornelia Funke.

Hi there. I'm the author of a new medieval fantasy series that you might like. The title of the first episode is THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY. It's 445 pages of action, adventure, magic, mystery and mayhem. If you are a fan of Conan, LOTR or Harry Potter books, this is one you'll enjoy. A Hollywood producer said it was, "Like Braveheart meets Lord of the Rings." (See other comments & reviews below.) Oh, and it's G rated.
Good luck, whatever you decide to read!
Jon F. Baxley (Author, Editor, Ghostwriter and Proofreader)
THE SCYTHIAN STONE (eBook only)
THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY (eBook and hard cover)
THE REGENTS OF RHUM (coming fall '07)
Major Media Reviews:
Publishers Weekly
STARRED Review. A fast pace, sly humor, amusing dialogue and a richly researched background lift Baxley's fantasy, the first of a new series set in medieval Britain. When Merlin's long-ago apprentice Kruzurk Makshare (aka the Boozer) receives a dreamlike visitation from the legendary mage, he learns he must destroy another former apprentice, the villainous Seed of Cerberus. To do so will require a visit to the demon-guarded Blackgloom Keep. Enter young Daynin McKinnon, who discovers a curious rune-covered headstone, which may be the fabled Blackgloom Bounty, and brings it to Kruz's attention. Kruz believes it will provide entry into the fortress, while Daynin hopes the sale of the stone will restore his family's fortunes. The colorful cast of good guys and ne'er-do-wells includes the Pictish ghost of Brude McAlpin liberated from his tomb, assorted pursuing Caledonians and a bemused Prior Bede, whose monastery serves as a hiding place for the Blackgloom Bounty. Suitable for fantasy enthusiasts of all ages.

Try reading Jane Lindskold's 'Wolf' series. Great reads no sex and not much if any gore. Great reads, though.
