Hola! Yes there are condos by Medano beach. My favorite website for condos is: www.vacationrentals.com. Everyone that has a condo to rent usually uses this site. I have heard good things about the Villas La Estancia - a little out of my price range. Terrasol is not as pricey but its not right on Medano. I know the Bahia is a condo complex but I haven't heard anything good/bad.
Yes, there are several grocery stores located in the downtown of Cabo. There is also a costco and kmart type place called Sorianas on the highway. All are easy access by taxi. Enjoy your holiday

The Pueblo Bonito Rose is right on Medano Beach and it's very nice. It also has a fabulous spa and a shuttle to downtown (which is only five minutes away). I own a timeshare there and in Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and all my experiences have been wonderful.
You can use E-Bay to rent timeshares, since Cabo is very popular. They're not all Saturday to Saturday either, mine are Friday to Friday.

check ebay under vacation rentals, or do a search for timeshare rentals. These are probably your best routes and perhaps cheapest.
