Well.....

The PSP vs DS Round 1 -gameplay

The PSP has more action games and don't take too much thinking to play.

The DS has action games but also need some thinking in some games. As a bonus, sometimes you don't use uttons. Some games depend heavily on the touch screen surface.

If you think of it, the DS pretty much has better things because of the fact that it has a touch screen to revolutionize gaming.

PSP vs DS Round 2 -Graphics

I don't understand why we care about graphics nowadays, but ......

The PSP, some say the graphics card is as good as the X-Box graphic card. I need more information to reinforce that fact.

The DS... It's graphics aren't as good, but the graphics are almost the same as PSP, so who cares...?

PSP wins in graphics

PSP vs DS round 3 - In the Market

PSP isn't doing well in the market. Whenever I go to school, and to other events likely to have alot of handheld gamers, I only see Nintendo DS.

DS wins round 3

Here is what I'm thinking about.

DS vs PSP gameplay: DS
DS vs PSP graphics: PSP
DS vs PSP in the market: DS
DS vs PSP how it appeals to children under 10: DS
DS vs PSP how it appeal to people 11-18: DS

DS wins. I seriously recommend it.

Don't buy a PSP yet, the redesigned version will be coming out some time in 2007. It'll be a lot better! It will have internal storage, rather than buying memory sticks.

A DS lite is great too, with a much wider variety of "official" games. However, PSP has a wide variety of homebrew. PSP has better hardware also.

I'd go for a PSP :D

i had this comparable challenge, so i've got been given the two : ), yet money is a ingredient, the psp fee greater and so do the video games so because it quite is a considerable con, and likewise the psp has a fewer pastime determination. on the same time as the psp does have few video games the a number of varieties are greater desirable and the video games like hotshots golfing, madden, call of accountability, godd of conflict, and others are in simple terms issues you cant omit. additionally I genuinely have many video clips and satalite radio, skype and continually pass on the interenet with my psp. the ds doesnt have many constructive components different than pictochat and on line play which the psp has additionally (in there very own kind) additionally the ds video games are particularly pastime boy video games with greater desirable photos or n64 video games with worse photographs. the reliable video games are the two pokemon, zelda, mario, different tahn those titles there arent others yet they have various video games like mairo baseball ect it wouldnt remember. in case you want a device which will carry you lower back to being a toddler and is not any longer hardcore yet can get boring genuinely than decide for the ds, in case you want a device it quite is the ps3 cellular and may be used as a working laptop or computer or skypephone, with person video games (particularly addicting ones) than decide for psp whats up are the two as reliable in simple terms they have diverse execs, and cons

It depends on what you're looking for:

Sony PSP:
Pros-- has a variety of games from ratings E to M with good graphics and the ability to play movies and listen to music

Cons-- really exprensive for a portable gaming system. Games and movies also cost lots of money.

Nintendo DS:
Pros-- Has a variaty of easy-to-beat games with the extra bonus of 2 screens and a stylus. Also can be used to chat with other DS owners via WI-FI and has the ability to play another persons game on your DS if they're near you.

Cons--
Only has games that rate from E-E10 and might be considered a kids gaming system

My pick is the Nintendo DS
