I think there is a website for learning Arabic, at least there was a few years ago.

If you have a good library in your community, check to see if they have "Rosetta Stone". It's a very good language program and has many languages to choose from, including Arabic and English. If your library has a website, you may even be able to do it from home (you'll need your library card number to access it).
